Our Client HR team has over 40 years of collective experience and we understand the unique challenges of managing a care team. Currently, we support our Case Managers in providing HR services for over 100 clients with almost 400 care staff, including 24-hour care teams, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Although ILS are not the employer (the Support Workers are employed directly by our clients), our clients rely on our experienced HR Service in helping them to manage the day to day responsibilities of employing a care team. Our comprehensive HR service includes:
- Managing the recruitment process to employ the right Support Worker
- Onboarding new Support Workers following safer recruitment guidelines
- Assisting Case Managers to manage probationary periods
- Providing updates to terms and conditions in accordance with changes to hours, pay or updated employment law

- Expertise in family-friendly processes (i.e. maternity, paternity, and flexible working)
- Providing advice in relation to termination, including redundancy.
All our HR Advisors are CIPD qualified and demonstrate a commitment to the highest professional HR standards. They will work in collaboration with our clients’ Employers Liability insurers to ensure the advice provided is covered.
